Eugene Bradley

Eugene Bradley affectionately known as "Gene" was born September 27, 1937, to the late Jim and Virginia Bradley in Sumter County, Alabama. He was one of eight siblings: Dora, Mattie, Adell, Estell, Lula Mae, Willie James, and Eddie. 

Eugene moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1957. He was the father of four children: Jenny, Jane, Maddie, and Pamela. 

Eugene worked in Construction and was employed as a Stock Clerk. He worked for the Cleveland Water Department until he retired. 

Gene enjoyed hunting, and he loved all breeds of dogs. He was part of the CB Radio group, a pioneer of Cleveland. 

Eugene departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. 

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Virginia Bradley; five siblings: Lula Mae Barnes, Willie James Bradley, Eddie Bradley, Estell Bradley, and Eugene Bradley I. 

The life of Eugene cannot die but will live on in the memories of his four children: Jenny Lee Sahye, Jane Louise Leachman (Mark), Maddie Ann Bradley, and Pamela Bradley Treadwell; five grandchildren: Colin Leachman, Landon Leachman, Tameika Treadwell, Kevin Clark and Kayla Clark; three siblings: Dora Bradley, Mattie Williams and Adell Williams and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin's, other relatives, and friends. 

A Public Viewing will be held on February 20, 2026, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the House Of Peace Funeral Home, 4105 East 71st Street, Cleveland, OH. The Celebration of Life Service will be on February 21, 2026, with a 9:30 AM Wake and 10:00 AM Service also at the House of Peace Funeral Home. Sedric D. Veal, Sr, Eulogist.  Interment will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
