Veteran's Honors

We believe the men and women who answered our nation’s call deserve the most prestigious honor and send-off. Men and women who served and protected the United States through dedicated military service deserve the best treatment in life and in death. The House of Peace funeral home offers comprehensive tribute options to honor the lives of our fallen heroes. Services include, but are not limited to:

• Arrange for rifle salute and color guard at cemetery when available. 
• Obtain official veteran’s flag.
• Secure an active-duty honor guard to fold and present the flag to the family when available. 

Occasionally, survivors are eligible for a family financial contribution. Veteran funeral benefits don’t come automatically and are sadly missed by some families. Someone in the family usually must request such services by filling out the official paperwork.
